Expanding its operations in India, Vietjet Thailand has announced the launch of its first-ever direct flight between Mumbai and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), beginning December 23, 2024. This new route offers travelers a convenient way to explore Thailand’s vibrant capital and beyond, while fostering stronger tourism, business, and cultural connections between the two dynamic cities.
Initially, the Mumbai–Bangkok service will operate daily. Flight VZ761 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) at 12:45 AM, arriving at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 6:25 AM. The return flight, VZ760, will leave Bangkok at 8:45 PM, landing in Mumbai at 11:50 PM (all times local).
Bangkok, Thailand’s bustling capital, is a unique blend of ancient tradition and modern energy. Visitors can marvel at iconic landmarks like the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, immerse themselves in vibrant marketplaces such as Chatuchak and the floating markets, and savor world-renowned street food, including Pad Thai and mango sticky rice.
Thai AirAsia X is launching direct flights from Delhi to Bangkok. Flights start on December 15. Bookings are open until November 24. One-way fares start from INR 7,990. The airline will operate bi-weekly flights initially. This will increase to four weekly flights from January 15, 2025. Passengers can connect to various domestic and international destinations.
