Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, has announced its decision to purchase six Airbus A320 aircraft, marking a key step in its ongoing transformation and growth strategy. These aircraft, which are currently leased and operated by the airline, will now be owned, reducing unit costs and addressing challenges in the aviation industry, including delays in aircraft deliveries caused by supply chain disruptions.
This strategic move will enhance Jazeera’s operational resilience and cost-efficiency, especially as the airline prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025. As part of its broader transformation, Jazeera Airways plans to expand its route network, introduce improved in-flight services, and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance the passenger experience.

Vietjet has added an Airbus A321neo ACF to its fleet, emphasising eco-friendly and efficient air travel. With plans to acquire more aircraft and wet-lease additional capacity, the airline aims to meet high travel demands during peak seasons and continue its expansion into global markets.

This acquisition also highlights our commitment to enhancing the passenger experience, improving operational efficiency, and expanding our reach as we transform into a more sustainable and innovative airline.”Jazeera Airways’ fleet expansion is set to continue with deliveries from its current order book of 26 Airbus A320 family aircraft, including 18 A320 NEO and 8 A321 NEO, expected to begin in 2026. The airline currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft, including 13 A320 CEO and 11 A320 NEO, serving over 60 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa, and Europe.
